Drive In Movies

Retro Fun at the Drive in Movies this past weekend!! Who said we didn't know how to Party!?
Jason, Lynea, and their crew (The Gravey Bunch), Mark and the girls and I all had a blast. We arrived about 7pm and found great spots right on the front row by the field. Mark and Jason created the best set up camp ever! Jason actually took all the seats out of his van and we watched movies in bucket seat style. We all played games for the first 2 hours. Lynea thought to bring frisbees, kickballs, footballs, well just about every boy toy a family could own. We munched out on popcorn, wings, gummy worms, and of course The Supersize bag of Twizzlers! At Dusk we watched the first feature....walle..Which was a lot of fun for the grownups! The second Feature? Indiana Jones! We really had a fantastic time together. Laughed, Played, Munched. Can't wait until our next adventure at the Drive In.

Summer Games at the Park

Friday, June 27, 2008

A few of our friends came up with a great idea. Each Thursday evening throughout the summer we are planning a game night in the Park. No hassle, no fuss, just show up and hang out. Last night we gathered with new and old friends to talk and play. No organized games this week. Just us sitting under the shelter watching the kids play in the rain! That's right. About 5 minutes after we arrived the rain began. Actually the kids loved it. The daddies kicked a soccer ball around with the little kids. A few brought scooters( great idea). They played on the play ground and swings while we chatted. We were missing a few families who were out of town but really had a fun time. Our goal is to actually play together...Frisbee, soccer, kickball, and walk the trail. This was a great start to what we hope will be a lot of fun this summer.
If you are interested in playing too just post a comment and I will e-mail you the specifics. Come join in the fun. This will be a great opportunity for us to build relationships with new people as well. Bring a friend!

Fridge Prayer

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

Check out my fridge. Can you find your picture? Everyday I see the smiling faces of all the peeps on my fridge and it reminds me to pray for each of you and your families! You can bet if your picture is here that someone in my family is praying for you. There are others we pray for daily but this is a great visual reminder for me. So send me a picture and I'll add you to the list! God Bless.

Sarah "Lifeguard"

Kyndall "My Fish"

Spent the afternoon with Friends from Kidscape(M.Kids) Mosaic Church

We had a fab time laughing, sharing and eating! Of course the kids spent the entire time in the pool with Jose's Kids. They never even stopped to eat! Of course Sarah took charge of the kids and had them playing games and jumping to her from the side of the pool.

The meeting was great. We discussed the upcoming move to Mallard Creek. Everyone is so excited and ready for all that God has planned. The Family Ministry of Mosaic Church Rocks!

New Bikes!

Friday, June 20, 2008

Daddy and the girls out roaming the neighborhood on their new bikes! Although Kyndall can ride just fine with no training wheels she refuses to let Daddy take them off. Notice the new bike safety helments as well(What a great mom these kids must have) Notice that Daddy is not modeling proper head gear. Some men are just meant to live on the edge!
The girls pooled their money and even bought walkie talkies with a 15 mile range. So they roam the neighborhood a few yards apart and communicate with one another
Kyndall
"Come in Sarah"
"Turn left at the next street"
"Over and out"
No skinned knees so far.
